Environmental catalysis
At suncat we are interested in understanding fundamental surface processes invovled in a number of heterogeneous catalytic reactions for environmental remediation and sustainable processes. This involves for example the HDS process, the HDN process, direct NO decomposition, CO oxidation, selective catalytic reduction and absorption of heavy metals in exhaust gasses.
