SUNCAT Work Featured on Front Cover of ChemPhysChem

The cover design was inspired by the idea that polaronic effects at the atomic level are of paramount importance for advancing the efficiency of transition metal oxide (TMO)-based photoelectrodes relevant to solar-driven renewable energy technologies, such as the generation of green H2 via artificial photosynthesis. We believed that this cover design would provide an excellent opportunity to disseminate the novel concept of polaron-mediated efficiency enhancement of TMO-based photoelectrodes to the broader photocatalysis research community.
