The CAS Future Leaders program is a highly competitive program, accepting less than 4% of applicants. The program provides opportunities for early-career scientists to learn leadership skills, engage in scientific discourse, and connect with peer scientists and innovators from around the world. 

As a member of the 2026 class, Ashton will join a group of exceptional Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars from around the world to take the next steps in their leadership journey.
