Talk Description:

The speakers will provide a brief overview of their respective programs (McCabe: Catalysis; Mountziaris: Process Systems, Reaction Engineering, and Molecular Thermodynamics) focusing on recent funding trends, cross-disciplinary funding opportunities, and potential future funding opportunities. Regarding the latter, we are in the process of identifying high impact areas for future research, and welcome comments and open discussion on where the best opportunities may lie.

This is also an opportunity to have a general conversion with NSF program manager about programs, fellowships and other applications and areas involving NSF.
