Martin Z. Bazant

Professor, Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Martin Z. Bazant is a professor of chemical engineering and applied mathematics at MIT with a background in theoretical physics (PhD, Harvard 1997). His research combines theory and experiments in electrochemical systems and transport phenomena. Current topics include water desalination, flow batteries, and electrodeposition. This work was recognized by the 2015 Alexander Kuznetsov Prize in Theoretical Electrochemistry.
