I am a PhD student from DTU, and I am part of a larger project entitled NACORR, New Alloy Catalyst for the Oxygen Reduction Reaction. This overall project aims at finding Pt alloys that improves the ORR activity over pure Pt, while remaining stable under reaction conditions. My work focuses on experimentally determining the properties of the Pt overlayer that forms on the surface of the alloy. I will work with both single crystal model systems as well as thin films and nanoparticles.
